The First World War Museum
on the Valparola pass
Located in an Austrian fortress, the First World War Museum on the Valparola Pass is set amid the unique landscape of the Dolomites at the foot of the Falzarego between Val Badia in Alto Adige and the Province of Belluno.
This little museum not only exhibits armaments and equipment, but also everyday objects found at the front of the Great War and collected in over 45 years of research.
Near the museum you can choose to follow a number of historic walks passing through the trails, walkways, trenches and tunnels carved out of the rocks during the First World War.
